In this video, Dr. Berg talks about distilled water and intermittent fasting. Distilled water is where they boiled the water and getting rid of the impurities and minerals which purifies the water.
Other Types of Purified Water:
• Reversed Osmosis
When you consume distilled water, it will deplete your minerals and electrolytes (calcium, magnesium, potassium, sodium chlorides) – especially if done long term. When you start doing an intermittent fasting program and you are doing maybe some periodic prolonged fasting with that and you are using reverse osmosis water or distilled water, you are going to deplete your mineral reserves and this can set you up for all sorts of problems specifically heart problems.
The best water to consume when you are doing intermittent fasting is spring water, well water or hard water. It is not recommended to use distilled water when you are fasting.
